Das dreisitzige Sofa Granbambola ist Teil der Serie Le Bambole, die 1972 entworfen und 1979 mit dem Compasso d'Oro ausgezeichnet wurde. Le Bambole sind eine zeitlos moderne Ikone und ein wirkmächtiger Ausdruck erstklassigen Designs Made in Italy. Le Bambole, die Forschung und kreatives Flair miteinander verbinden, sind eine sehr persönliche Antwort auf den Aspekt des Sitzens. Das Besondere an ihnen ist das scheinbare Fehlen einer tragenden Struktur, die ausgeprägte Natürlichkeit der Form und die Kombination aus Komfort, Weichheit und Elastizität, die ihr Erscheinungsbild vermittelt. Während die ursprüngliche Machart auf einem Metallgestell basierte, die in Polyurethan eingebettet war, werden jetzt Materialien der neuesten Generation verwendet, wobei das Gestell aus recyceltem Polyethylen besteht. Ein nachhaltiges Projekt dank der Wahl der Materialien und der Machart, die es ermöglicht, die Bestandteile von Le Bambole vollständig zu zerlegen und somit leicht zu recyceln.
