When purchasing from Switzerland, the German VAT is deducted directly in the shopping cart and the Swiss tax of currently 8.1% is automatically added after selecting Switzerland as the country of delivery. We take care of the entire process including customs clearance and paperwork.

Who is behind the idea?
MöbelFirst was founded in 2016 by Dennis Franken and Christoph Ritschel. The first supporters and shareholders included Dr. Ralf Struthoff, Dr. Christoph Schug and the Höner family (Musterring). Together they founded MöbelFirst GmbH in Cologne. In 2023, the shareholders sold the company. Today, the company belongs to The Platform Group AG (Benner Holding) from Wiesbaden, a family-run technology company that specializes in the operation of platform business models in the premium market. The IPO took place in 2023.
The founders Dennis Franken and Christoph Ritschel are still managing directors of MöbelFirst.
